Our team
A fuels business is judged on whether the plant runs, the fuel passes its test and the dealer gets paid. That takes people who have done it before. Between them, our leadership brings three decades of fuels science, refinery construction for India's largest oil companies, twenty-five years of market-built sales leadership, and a finance function run by someone who has grown with the company rather than arrived at its scale.
Founder
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Founded the company in 2017 · over a decade in drop-in fuels and renewable energy
"We convert waste that has no home into fuel the country has to buy — and we sell that fuel through a retail network we own and brand. That is the whole idea, and every asset we have built serves it."
Rishabh Gupta built My Indifuels from an idea into an operating fuels and clean-energy business. His command of the industry was earned in the field — across suppliers, plants, buyers and regulators — and that grounding still shapes how he runs the company.
He has taken the company from first principles to physical infrastructure: the production facility at Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, and the dedicated research centre at Sangli, Maharashtra, where the pyrolysis and hydrogen processes were developed. Equally central has been assembling a senior team beyond what companies at this stage usually attract — pairing three decades of fuels science and twenty-five years of sales leadership with a young, ambitious core.
His management style is hands-on and execution-led. He stays close to the plant, the technology and the customer, and expects the same of his leadership team. Behind it is a firm conviction: India's energy transition must be built with Indian technology, Indian engineers and Indian capital rather than imported wholesale.
A researcher, consultant and entrepreneur, he has been recognised for Excellence in Renewable Fuels, Bio Fuels & Green Hydrogen at the Red FM Red Achievers Awards.

Leadership team
Each of them leads a department with a defined scope, and owns the outcome it is responsible for.
Mr. Mahesh Pagnish
Head — Research & Development and Technology
Three decades in fuels science · accredited scientist · leads the Sangli research centre
A professionally accredited scientist who combines academic rigour with a practitioner's sense of what survives at plant scale. His career spans a substantial body of published and applied research across fuel chemistry and the process industries — much of it translated into operating technology rather than left on paper. He leads the research centre at Sangli, Maharashtra, where our pyrolysis and hydrogen processes were conceived and matured from laboratory concept to working process. His focus is constant: yield, energy efficiency and process safety. He also mentors our young scientists and engineers, building research discipline alongside commercial awareness.

Mr. Navneet Pandey
Chief Financial Officer
Chartered Accountant · six years with the company
A Chartered Accountant who has been with My Indifuels long enough to have taken it through every stage of its growth — and to know the numbers behind each of them. He owns finance end to end, and his work on investment and project-company structuring is what lets us finance new plants while ring-fencing each project's risk. He built the budgeting and reporting framework our investor reporting runs on, turning operational data into board-ready numbers. Cost control in his function is treated as an engineering problem rather than an accounting one: unit economics are tracked to the process level, so pricing and expansion decisions rest on real margins rather than estimates.

Mr. Sharad Sharma
Head — Production Plant Construction & Operations
Two decades in oil & gas project and construction management
His project career was built in the front rank of the refining industry, with international engineering houses that design and build the world's refineries, delivering downstream projects for India's major oil companies. His refining experience spans greenfield and brownfield execution across the full slate of process units — crude and vacuum distillation, hydrocracker, hydrogen generation, sulphur recovery, storage, effluent treatment, offsites and utilities, and coal-to-gas. Critically, he has worked all three sides of a major project — licensor, project management consultant, and construction contractor — so he knows exactly where projects are lost between them. His hydrogen generation and coal-to-gas experience is the same engineering territory as our own processes.

Why it matters: the person who builds each plant is the person who then has to run it. Refinery discipline runs through both — capital is heavy, safety is non-negotiable, and shortcuts always surface eventually.
Mr. Sudhir Srivastava
Head — Retail & General Management
More than thirty years in management, sales, marketing and organisational leadership
He owns the retail network end to end — site selection, outlet expansion, dealer development, commissioning, and the daily operating standards that decide what a customer actually experiences at the forecourt. Alongside retail he carries a general management mandate across the organisation, bringing administrative discipline and cross-functional coordination to a company growing on several fronts at once. Three decades in the field have given him command of retail fundamentals: throughput planning, inventory and supply discipline, pricing execution, and the safety and statutory compliance that fuel retail permits no exception on. His leadership rests on accountability — clear targets at every outlet, disciplined review, and managers who are developed rather than merely supervised.

Mr. Pankaj Sahu
Chief Marketing Officer
Over 25 years in sales and marketing, built in the market rather than the boardroom
His experience shows in how quickly he reads demand patterns, pricing behaviour and competitive movement on the ground. His core strength is converting that market intelligence into practical go-to-market strategy — building distribution networks, structuring channel partnerships, and setting up sales systems that hold up under real operating conditions. A skilled negotiator and relationship-builder, he is equally effective with dealers, institutional buyers, transport operators and industry stakeholders, with a record of turning difficult conversations into durable commercial relationships. His leadership style pairs disciplined execution with mentorship: sales teams that are aggressive in the field and consistent in delivery.

Mr. Rajeev Khare
Chief Relationship Officer
Commercial, institutional and government relationships
He is the principal point of contact for our dealer community — both the retail outlet network and the pump dealers attached to our production plants — and his work keeps those partnerships stable, profitable and long-term. He leads engagement with government departments, regulatory authorities and public institutions, so that approvals, licences and compliance matters are pursued through the proper channels and to the standard of transparency the fuels sector demands. On the capital side he manages investor relations alongside the Founder and the CFO. His strength is the durability of his relationships: he is trusted across a wide network because he treats access as something earned through consistency rather than transaction.

Mr. Ashutosh Srivastava
Chief Technology Officer
Over fifteen years in the technology industry, based in Canada
He leads our digital and technology function — plant automation, IT infrastructure, data systems, and the software platforms our operations, reporting and customer interfaces run on. His mandate is that the company is built digital-first rather than digitised later: instrumentation and data capture designed into plants from the outset, so production, quality and cost are measured in real time instead of reconstructed after the fact. Fifteen years in a mature technology market gives him a clear view of which tools, standards and engineering practices are worth bringing into an Indian fuels business — and which are not worth the cost. Where research develops the chemistry, his function builds the systems that make that chemistry measurable, repeatable and auditable at scale.

Mr. Prahlad Yadav
Business Development
BCA and MBA, Lucknow University · a decade in alternative fuels and fuel delivery
His career runs across consumer brands, digital media and — for the past decade — alternative fuels and fuel delivery. He began in consumer products, then headed sales and marketing for a major media group's digital business: an early grounding in performance-led selling, campaign economics and generating demand rather than waiting for it. He moved into energy as a State Head, learning fuel distribution from the ground up, and most recently led four states for India's largest doorstep diesel delivery company — territory covering some of the country's densest and most price-sensitive fuel demand, from construction sites and telecom towers to transport fleets. That is precisely the territory we are expanding into, and he arrives with the fleet, dealer and institutional relationships already in place.

An unusual combination: he can build a funnel and also close a deal at a depot.

One coordination point worth naming. Plant construction sits with the Production Plant Construction & Operations department, and selected construction and installation activity at our plants is overseen jointly with Retail & General Management. We publish that rather than leave it unsaid, because a shared boundary that is written down is safer than one that is assumed.

Where our people work
Corporate, finance, marketing, relationships and retail management. Hope Tower, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar.
A second corporate office is opening in Noida, taking us closer to the National Capital Region — to institutional customers, fleet operators and partners who work out of Delhi NCR.
Our production facility — where plant engineering, operations, quality control and the production team work.
Our dedicated research centre, where the pyrolysis and hydrogen processes were developed, and where our young scientists and engineers train.
And the field. Most of our people are not in an office. Territory managers, survey teams, site engineers and relationship managers work across Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, at outlets and on sites.
Join us
Our founder's deliberate choice was to pair deep experience with a young, ambitious team — three decades of fuels science and twenty-five years of sales leadership alongside engineers and scientists early in their careers. If you want to learn this industry from people who built refineries and developed processes, this is a good place to do it.
We never charge a fee to give anyone a job. Not for an application, an interview, training or a joining letter. Nobody at My Indifuels, or acting in our name, is authorised to ask you for money. If anyone does, refuse and write to us directly.
